The spare chair that still carries a full-size adult
The i-Lite is Karma Mobility’s entry-level transit chair. It does not have the S-Ergo seating system or the engineering of the Ergo range, and it is not pretending to. What it does have is a 115kg capacity at the lowest price in the Karma line-up.
The one thing it does better: capacity for the money. Most budget transit chairs stop at 100kg. This one takes 115kg — the same as the S-Ergo 115 and the Ergo 3 — for a fraction of the cost. If you need a chair that will reliably take a larger adult but it is a spare, a loan chair, or an occasional-use chair rather than the one someone lives in, this is the honest choice.

If the chair is going to be used for hours every day, look at the Ergo Lite 2 Transit or the Ergo 125 Transit instead — the seating makes a real difference over a long day.

Prices exclude VAT. Karma wheelchairs qualify for VAT relief under HMRC Notice 701/7 where the user is chronically sick or disabled, or a charity buys on their behalf. The declaration is completed at checkout.
