Built for the person who transfers forwards
The S-Ergo 115 is the straightforward member of the S-Ergo family. It keeps the seating system the range is known for, holds 115kg, and is crash tested — but it fixes the armrests rather than flipping them up, which is exactly what some users want.
The one thing it does better: forward transfers. Karma’s own line is that “fixed armrests and detachable, swingaway footrests make this an ideal option for forward transfers”. If someone stands up out of the chair rather than sliding sideways onto a bed or seat, fixed armrests give them something solid to push up from — a flip-up armrest can move at the wrong moment. Getting the footrests out of the way without tools is what clears the floor in front of them.

Prices exclude VAT. Karma wheelchairs qualify for VAT relief under HMRC Notice 701/7 where the user is chronically sick or disabled, or a charity buys on their behalf. The declaration is completed at checkout.
115 or 125?
The S-Ergo 125 is the same chair with flip-up armrests and AEGIS anti-microbial upholstery. Choose the 125 if the user slides sideways onto a bed; choose this one if they stand up. If you are not sure which it is, that is exactly what a free equipment assessment is for.
